Instructions: 👉👈👉👈👉👈👉👍

  1. Foundation Chain:
Chain 126 (this gives approx. 36 inches width).
(You can adjust by keeping the chain in multiples of 2 if you want to change the size.)
  2. Row 1:
In the 4th chain from hook, make 1 dc.
Dc in each chain across. Turn. (Total: 124 dc)
  3. Row 2–6 (White):
Chain 3 (counts as first dc), dc in each stitch across. Turn.
  4. Row 7–12 (Pink):
    Repeat Row 2.

Repeat alternating 6 rows of each color (white, pink, white, etc.) until the blanket measures about 42 inches (3.5 feet) in height. End on a white section for a clean finish

 Optional Border:

Simple Border (in Pink or White):

  • Round 1: Sc (single crochet) all around the edge of the blanket, placing 3 sc in each corner. Join with sl st to first sc.

Round 2–3: Continue with dc or sc for 2 more rounds to give a neat edge
